Matt Slay
Matt Slay is currently accepting a limited number of commissions. Below you will find pricing and examples of previously completed commissions for his clients. Please allow 4-8 weeks for the completion of your commission. Longer waiting periods are possible due to professional and personal obligations.
Commission Pricing:
All commissions are sized 11x17 for standard pricing. Oversized options are available, and pricing will be adjusted to reflect the larger sizes.
Concerning sketch covers: To protect the books, Matt will not paint on sketch cover books. However, he will take pen/ink commissions priced below.
Specialty Commissions – such as cover recreations, “1 minute later” covers, or wrap-around sketch covers are priced upon request.
Black and White Wash Painting:
Head/bust - $200
Single figure - $350
Add $150 per additional figure
Color Painting:
Head/bust - $400
Single figure - $550
add $200 per additional figure
Sketch covers :
Head/bust - $85
Single figure - $150
add $50 per additional figure
